Justin, Room Candle Co.’s Maker, trained his nose (and his mouth) in restaurant kitchens for almost 30 years before making his first candle. The same mastery of flavors that once finished a dish now shapes every scent Justin builds for Room.

Most candles overwhelm a room. When you pile on fragrance after fragrance, the result is what we call a nose bomb. Another name for it is a headache. That’s not cool, man.

Justin builds scents the way chefs build flavor. Looking for balance between brightness, body, and depth.

Our goal is simple: when you smell something we make, you should know what you’re smelling, but still experience it in a new way.
