Joan took her first pottery class in 2000. Since then, she has been selling her pottery in local shows including Under the Oaks, Boylan Art Walk, and Artsplosure. Today, she enjoys teaching pottery class at the Sertoma Art Center and Clayton Community Center. She lives in North Raleigh with her family where they enjoy running, biking, and yoga.
