Jane Goodall loved animals from the time she was a child. She studied in Africa, and then traveled to Tanzania to learn all about chimpanzees. She befriended the chimpanzees, learning important things we didn’t know about how they make and use tools―and that they aren’t vegetarians! After decades of study, Jane works today to inspire people to conserve the environment and protect animals.
