"In the painting and design, I really wanted to capture the movement and energy of watching the Canes, which is not only reflected in the pose of the player, but also the way the materials are applied. I took a very improvisational approach, quickly mixing warm colors and grabbing a variety of mixed media: burlap mesh, construction paper, tissue, decorative paper, etc. I tried to bring the same “in-game” energy to the typography and graphic design."
