Rick Grayson retired from the Raleigh Police Department with 30 years of service. As an escape from the hustle and bustle of working in a rewarding, but sometimes stressful profession, he became committed to improving his art skills. The historic and not-so-historic Raleigh architecture that attracts so many people inspired Rick to capture the buildings and other structures on notecards in pen, ink, and watercolor. Rick lives in Raleigh with his wife Jody and their dog Bailey, a Saving Grace rescue. He now works for the NC State Bar in Downtown Raleigh.
