When Kevin and Kirsten first began brewing beer at home, they realized just how much grain is left over in the process. Looking to reduce waste, they created a dog treat recipe using the spent grain, gave a few batches to their dog Gus, and realized other dogs and their owners would love these treats too. Combine this realization with two entrepreneurial-minded, creative thinkers and a love for all things local—Good Boy Dog Treats was born. Now they travel around to North Carolina breweries collecting leftover grain to create drool-worthy dog treats any good boy (or girl) will love.
