Erin Brown grew up in Ohio and taught school in Florida before settling in Clayton, NC with her new husband. Erin Brown has expressed herself creatively all her life, though only in adulthood has she been able to express her creativity in metal. While teaching elementary school, she took some introductory metal classes and fell in love with the medium. She has been creating wearable art in silver and gemstones since 2008. Her inspiration is drawn from geometry and mathematics.
